After graduating from Ithaca College with a film and photography degree, Sam moved to LA to work in the film industry. But being a native of Brooklyn, she missed the cold east coast winters and pushy New Yorkers and returned to the city to work in production, making commercials for several years. It was there she realized the perfect alchemy of her experience and passions — production and advertising — to become a creative recruiter, where she met her current partner, Lori. In 2001, Sam and Lori opened Sam & Lori Associates. Sam moved to Croton in June of 2011 with her husband and two young daughters. They now have three daughters, a yellow Labrador, a cat and chickens. She feels a deep connection and sense of community in Croton and want to use her skills to help raise awareness and funds to help the school district.

With three young children benefiting from our schools, she is excited to join the Croton Harmon Education Foundation board. A graduate of Binghamton University, Jessica has spent the bulk of her professional career as an account manager at strategic and graphic design agencies, managing the business between clients and the internal design team. In addition to some of the more industry-specific and task-oriented skills that come with that, Jessica easily connects with people and looks forward to working with the board, the schools, and the extended community.
